Abstract

Badenian and Sarmatian microfauna (foraminifers and ostracodes) from boreholes B-1 and B-2 is presented. A total of 26 foraminiferal and 45 ostracod species have been identified. Badenian stage is represented by the biostratigraphic zone Ammonia beccarii. Sarmatian is divided into three zones: Zone of large Elphidium, Elphidium hauerinum Zone and Porosononion granosum Zone. Besides biostratigraphic division, some paleogeographical and paleoecological reconstruction have also been made.
