Geometry and kinematics of the rupture fabric in the Prijepolje - Kamena Gora area (SW Serbia)

Abstract

This article synthesize and evaluate data concerning rupture fabric of the area betvveen Prijepolje and Kamena Gora which are obtained by methods of scanogram analysis, remote sensing and structural analysis in the area of outcrope. The main characteristic of rupture fabric is the existence of several fault systems with difterent strikes and kinematic characteristics. Apart from the faults, the most common ruptural shapes are shear and tension joints, whose position partly coincides with the orientation of major faults in the research area.
